Span-America recently announced the addition of an antifungal cream to its Selan® skin care line.
New Selan+ AF with miconazole nitrate is a waterproof antifungal cream. The zinc oxide and dimethicone ingredients combine to provide a moisture barrier to protect the skin. This new product allows caregivers to use one product to protect the skin while treating the fungal infection.
Selan+ AF can be used to treat and cure most jock itch (tinea cruris), ringworm (tinea corporis), athlete's foot (tinea pedis), and superficial yeast infections (candidiasis) as well as relieve itching, burning, and redness associated with such conditions. Like all Selan products, Selan+ AF is petrolatum free and will not clog diaper pores or impede diaper absorption. It is available in 2-ounce and 4-ounce tubes.
