MPM Medical, Inc. announces its new wound gel that combines advanced wound healing with pain management. Regenecare(TM) with two-percent lidocaine is indicated for the management of pressure ulcers, superficial wounds and scrapes, and first- and second-degree burns.
Regenecare contains collagen (humectant), pure aloe vera extract (moisturizer), vitamin E (antioxidant), and lidocaine HCI 2% (topical anesthetic). It facilitates a moist wound environment, which promotes autolytic debridement. Also, it has been shown to reduce pain intensity without side effects.
